Q:

when i turn my hitachi 60v710 tv on its red. what can i do to fix and i checked the settings. Hitachi Lcd rear projection television

A:

Thank you for contacting SearsPartsDirect.com with your questions about your television. I am so sorry you are having problems with it. I know the TV is a key component in our daily lives and know you want to get it working quickly. In this case I recommend you have this tested and repaired by a qualified technician. Internal components of the TV can retain dangerous high electrical charges even when the TV is disconnected from the power supply.

Here at SearsPartsDirect.com, we love to help you with your home repairs but in this case, for your safety, we recommend you have the TV serviced. If you would like a Sears technician to complete the repair, you can set up service at www.SearsHomeServices.com or by calling 1-800-469-4663.

Thank you for your understanding in this matter. I hope we can help you with any future repairs. Thank you for choosing Sears, we appreciate your business.

If depends on what fuse you are looking for. There are several fuse inside the TV, some in the wiring and some on the circuit boards. Please let me know which one you are looking for.

When you plug the TV in go you hear any noise? If not most likely the power supply would need to be replaced.

A:

Since there is no noise when the TV is plug in then the power supply should be the problem. It might not be a fuse on the power supply. I do not know of a place where you could take the power supply to get tested.
