Makita drill does not work.

While you are waiting for a detailed rely from an expert I have taken the time to research your model on the website and was unable to find any information available to your model,however I recommend visiting the nearest sears services center in your area were you can have a service associate repair your drill. Thank you for your question on the Makita cordless drill driver.

If the motor is starting a stopping as you pull the trigger then it could be that the switch is the problem.

Another possibility is the forward and reverse switch. If you flip the forward and reverse lever back and forth to get the drill motor to work, then it could be the problem.

It may be a little hard to know for sure with out replacing the components.

If the trigger switch and the forward/reverse switch seem to be working without having to play with the switches then it may be the motor.

Look at key numbers 22, 23 and 45 in the picture.

The motor does no list any internal parts so you would have to replace the complete motor if the brushes are worn out.
