Q:

Why is my produce freezing in the vegetable bins? 59678579803 Kenmore Elite Refrigerator

A:

Thank you for choosing Sears Parts Direct. I will be more than happy to help with your refrigerator. Upon researching model 59678579803;  Vegetables cost too much to have to throw away. I understand what a problem this is. This can be an air flow problem or if the freezer temperature gets excessively cold (below zero degrees) this can occur. To check the temperature, place a thermometer between some packages. Air temp is not a good check. If it is too cold, usually adjusting the control to a warmer setting will correct this problem. If the temperature is ok (between 0 and 5 degrees), this will be an air flow problem. Try setting the damper control for less air flow into the fridge and set the thermostat to a slightly colder setting. This will keep the unit running a little longer and help keep the air circulating. You can also close the air louver at the bottom, to prevent a cold air migration back from the freezer. Any change to the temperature controls does require about 24 hours to adjust. If it freezes all the time, normally, to reduce the temperature, close the air duct next to it completely off. If it still freezes, the vent may need to be plugged. A technician will usually do this from the freezer side.

I trust this information will help you, we appreciate your business thank for choosing Sears.

Normally hollow ice is caused when the freezer gets too cold (below zero) or too much air is blowing on the icemaker. Both of these conditions can cause the icemaker to cycle prematurely. If the water has slowed down it may also be affecting the icemaker, creating smaller cubes. Low water pressure can be caused from the water valve or the water supply pressure may be too low. If you have not changed your water filter in the last six months, that could be an issue. Most refrigerators with filters, need at least 35 psi to work properly.

Click here to down load and view your owners manual. It states that you should have your the temperature settings at 0 for your freezer and 38 degrees for the refrigerator.

A:

The information you need is probably in the owners manual for the vacuum. You can get an owners manual by clicking on the "Manuals" button at the top of this page.

You need to enter the model number of the vacuum in the search field. The model number you sent is for a refrigerator.

If you have questions reply on this thread and include the model of the vacuum. I will be glad to help.
