Question and Answers

After defrosting and powering up, I have Hi Temp light on. Will this disappear when it reaches a desired temp? 59673509300

Thank you for being Sears’ valued member and for contacting with your question about your Kenmore refrigerator/freezer. I am so sorry the drainage had a build-up of ice and needed to be defrosted. I am happy to inform you the High Temperature light should go off as soon as the unit reaches the desired temperature. This may take 24 hours.

The lukewarm temperature may have been caused by the ice build-up preventing the air from flowing properly. Your question included two different model numbers (59673509300 and 253.28432800). If the lukewarm temperature persists, please resubmit your question with the model number of the product that has the problem and we will be happy to research this for you further. I hope this answers your question. Thank you for choosing Sears, we appreciate your business.
