Hi,

Thank you for your question. It is concerning when the refrigerator is not functioning correctly.

To remove and replace the left side end caps, you will need to first remove the crispers drawers. see pictures.
Next is to remove the drawer. see picture.
Remove the drawer shelf by lifting it up and out, Be careful, glass.
Now there is space to use the nut driver and remove the screws from the left hand side end cap.

Thank you for your question. It is concerning when the refrigerator is not functioning correctly.

If the clip is not holding the line to the elbow, I would recommend that you replace the elbow. In the picture it looks worn out. Here is the link, Kenmore Refrigerator Model 59673504202 elbow . This is the elbow fill tube.
