Q:

Ice maker Parts 59672912200

A:

Thank you for choosing Searspartsdirect.com and being a valued member. I can certainly assist you.

I have checked part number 2 and that does look like the part you will need.

. To replace that fill cut, you would need to unplug the refrigerator and remove the ice maker from the freezer.

You can remove the cover and release the motor module at the front of the ice maker. You can then pull that shaft of the ejector forward and thread it through the hole in that fill cup. image6771426478323974895img-or.jpg (288×400)

This is an unusual problem but there's not much to the bail arm. If should be fully inserted into the ice maker.

The bail arm may have been bent causing it to pop out.

You can view the following video for a little more information about the bail arm and where it mounts.

Repairing a ice maker .

Which end of the arm comes loose?

You can reply with any additional details for further assistance.

This isn't a reply, but a question, really. I have this model refrigerator and ice maker. The plastic part the the wire bail 'connects' to in the back broke very near where the bail hole is. I think this is part number 2 on the exploded view (although I am not entirely sure.) My real questions are: 1. Is this the right part? and 2. how does one replace that part and how hard is it? Thanks.
