Thank you for your question. I'm sorry you are having this cooling problem with the fridge. This type of problem will usually be caused by low air flow to the fridge section. The most likely reason for this will be the control damper # 67003410 is not operating properly and will usually need to be replaced. Another reason will be if the defrost system fails to operate properly. If there is a thick frost accumulation on the back wall in the freezer, it will indicate the defrost system has failed. As the frost accumulates, the air flow to the fridge section will be reduced. In this case, turn the unit off for 24 hours and place the food in a safe place. When the frost is all gone, the unit will cool ok again for a few days until the frost starts to accumulate again. This will allow time to have it checked and repaired. I hope this will help you. If you would like more assistance, reply to this thread and I will be glad to assist you further.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services.

I know how tricky it can be to remove the light bulb shields. This model does have good instructions in the use and care section of the manual.  I also added the instructions in the image below for the refrigerator light and the freezer light.  I recommend disconnecting the power cord before replacing the light bulb and allow the bulb to cool. If further help is needed, please reply.  Thank you for using Manage My Life.
