Thank you for your question. To clean the coil, follow the information in the owner�s manual. Use the vacuum cleaner and a hose nozzle. To clean the back of the coil, pull the unit away from the wall and remove the back panel cover. Disconnect the power and now you can use the vacuum cleaner and nozzle on the back side of the coil. It would be unusual for the back side to need cleaning. Another option would be to use air pressure to blow out the coil. Be prepared for some dust to fly when using this method.
