The description of how the thermostat and compressor are operating sounds like a possible double problem. If the compressor seems to run continuously and with the temperature listed, it would indicate a problem in the seal system. A technician will be required to make this type of repair. Now, if the compressor is cycling off at the listed temperature, the compressor will probably be ok and this will be a thermostat problem. If the compressor runs continuously and runs even when the control is turned off, the thermostat # 67003000 will need to be replaced and this would also indicate a possible seal system problem.
