To replace the relay first disconnect power to the unit. Pull it out so you can remove the back cover and you will be able to see the compressor. Remove the cover where the wire enters the compressor and you will see the relay. It should pull off the compressor terminals and the new one will plug back in the same place. Take the wire off of the original and place it on the new one. Put the cover back on and reconnect the power. I hope this will help you.

Q:

food not freezing in freezer 59658642891

A:

I know that it can be very frustrating to have issues with your refrigerator. Check for frost build up on the back wall. If there is a heavy frost, this will be a defrost problem. If there is no frost and the unit runs constantly, this will be a seal system or compressor problem. It could be a low charge, a restriction or the compressor may not be pumping properly. These are checks a technician will be required to make. If you don't feel comfortable doing this yourself, please click on this link to schedule service: Sears Home Services. Click on "Get Started" and follow the directions, click on the red "NEXT" button to continue. I hope this helps. Please feel free to let me know if you need further assistance. We are always here to help. Thank you for using Manage My Life.com.
