The refrigerator will kit the compressor off with the overload relay if its in danger of running to much or too hot. Thank you for your question. I can understand your concern about the vibration. The information you have received is good about the compressor. Now, if the unit is shaking while it's running, the most likely reason will be it's not sitting flush on the floor. Another possibility would be if the floor is actually vibrating and may need to be supported. Check the cabinet first and push on the sides, to see if the shaking stops. If it does stop, then the cabinet will need to be adjusted. I hope this will help you.
