Thanks for contacting manage my life about your refrigerator model    596.50002100. Sorry you are having a problem, I will be glad to assist. However I need more information, because there is no reprogramming (unless it has been put into a display mode or test mode accidently) for this unit it will help to know what the symptoms are. Are there any codes in the display, if so what is showing in the display? Have you replaced the control?  Please reply with the details and I will be happy to research and respond.   If you get to the point where you need to have a service technician diagnose and repair this failure, you can schedule service through this link: Sears Home Services. Ron H.

Power surges can cause damage to our appliances. I know how upsetting it is when this happens.  Does the refrigerator display any lights on the control panel?  If there are lights on the control, the hidden lock out may have been activated.  Press Lock/Unlock and Display Light On/Off simultaneously for three seconds. If this does not help or if the control display is completely dead, the control may need to be replaced.  I recommend scheduling a technician to diagnose and make repairs.  You can schedule a Sears technician at Sears Home Services . If further assistance is needed, please reply.  Thank you for using Manage My Life.

Thank you for your question. This image indicates the temperature in the freezer went above 15 degrees for more than 2.5 hours. Normally the 2 most common reasons for this will be a defective board or thermistor. However, if the door was left open, it will probably be the reason. If the freezer temperature is ok now and the image is still there, try resetting the board by disconnecting the power for 30 seconds and then reconnect it. To check the temperature, place a thermometer between some packages. Air temperature is not a good check. I hope this will help you. If you would like more assistance, reply to this thread and I will be glad to assist you further.
