Thanks for contacting ManageMyLife.com. I understand how frustrating it is having trouble with your dishwasher not spraying properly. We are here to help. I suspect the check ball may stuck. The check ball is weighted so it does not float. The ball should sit at the opening of the spray arm tube...Water pressure moves the ball...More than likely you have a bad impeller or the motor is not creating enough pressure to move the ball. The image below should help you take apart the pump. I hope this helps.

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

On the bottom of the spray is  a couple of locking tabs on opposite sides from each other that snaps over the spray arm support. I would suspect the two plastic tabs are weak and not staying clipped over the lip of the spray arm support. It will likely need a new spray arm more so that the spray arm support.

This may be the issue. If not, please reply and I will be glad to assist you further.

it is actually the spray arm support that is not staying in place. the spray arm stays attached to the support. It looks like the spray arm support locks on to the piece that stciks up and is supposed to lock on the tabs on it. one of the tabs appears to be gone

Aaron: It sounds like the spray arm support may not be locked in place. It should lock in place by turning the spray arm 90 degrees counter clockwise (CCW). To remove it, turn it clockwise 90 degrees and lift off. The spray arm support twists and locks onto the volute cover. It may need a new volute cover or spray arm support if it will not lock onto the volute cover.

A:

Something like this is usually caused by a restricted drain line or faulty drain pump. I recommend removing the drain hose from under the sink & place it in a bucket for testing. If the drain line is clear you will need to replace the drain pump on the dishwasher.

Please click on the image provided in the attachment below.

First disconnect power to the dishwasher.
