Q:

All option LED's flashing and not running.

A:

Hi,

Thanks for contacting ManageMyLife.  I understand how frustrating it is having trouble with your appliance.

The switch at the door seems to be the problem.  Make sure the switches function correctly and the switched power is getting to the board.  On a side note check the switched neutral as well.  This is the reason for the lights flashing, the control is not getting a good voltage from the switch or the neutral switch is weak.

If you decide to have a Technician check your appliance, call this number to get the service call arranged 1-888-266-6317.

Please feel free to let me know if you need further assistance. We are always here to help.

Thank you for using Man

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

The float would not have anything to do with it not draining/pumping water out. The float is used to break the voltage supply to the water inlet valve in case stuck or shorted relay.

Your dishwasher has two motors, a pump/wash motor and drain pump motor assembly. You did not indicate if you hear the drain pump running or not. If you do hear the drain pump running or humming; then it could have faulty drain pump assembly or a faulty electronic control.

Start a cycle and then press the Start/Cancel pad and then listen for the drain pump. If you hear it running, then there is likely a restriction in the drain pump or drain hose between the sump and drain pump or in the drain hose between the drain pump and where the drain hose connects under the sink. If the drain hose is connected to the garbage disposal, it could have clog in the fitting where the drain hose connects.

If you do not hear the drain pump running or humming, the drain pump or control board is likely faulty. In order to diagnose the failure if the drain pump is not running or humming will require a voltage meter. The voltage will need to be measured across the White and Violet wires at the drain pump when Start/Cancel is pressed after starting a cycle. If 120 volts is measured and the drain pump is not running, the drain pump will need to be replaced. If you do not measure 120 volts, the control board is likely faulty. NOTE: I do not recommend measuring the voltage unless you have experience and feel safe and confident in doing so, otherwise I strongly suggest calling a service technician to properly diagnose and repair your dishwasher.

I added an image below to reference.

I hope this is helpful. If I may be of further assistance as more details become available, please reply to this post.

If you get to the point where you need to have a service technician diagnose and repair this failure, you can schedule service through this link: Sears Home Services.
