Q:

Why did my Kenmore model 587.15253401 dishwasher start to leak after I replaced the soap dispenser?

A:

You don't provide many details about where the water is leaking from.

If the water is leaking from the bottom of the door check that the water is not leaking around the dispenser. Since only the dispenser was changed and the dishwasher wasn't leaking before most likely the water is coming from around the dispenser. Make sure all of the screws are tight and if it is leaking and the screws are tight then some RTV sealant can be used around the dispenser for a better seal.

There is a bottom door gasket that might have come loose during the dispenser replacement.

If the water is leaking from the bottom of the door the door may need to be adjusted for a tighter fit.

Submit another quesiton with any additional details about where the leak is coming from for further assistance with this problem.
