Hi Joseph, Thanks for the link. The answers I found there are up to the point of my own findings with my troubleshooting efforts... I seem to be narrowed down to the control board. I was wondering if there would be any checks I could do on the control board itself to confirm (or not) my suspicions. The link however has some experts names there that may be able to help me. Thanks again. Eduardo

I know that it can be very difficult to have issues with your dishwasher. If the control has 120 volts to it and there are no lights or display then most likely the control will have to be replaced. You can check to see if you have power coming out of the board, by testing the door switch.  If you are not getting continuity to this, then you will need a new control board.

I hope this helps. If you need further assistance, please reply to this thread. Thank you for using Manage My Life.

Hi Beverly,

Thank you for submitting a question to Manage My Life.

The first thing I recommend is checking the impeller. To do this you must gain access to the inside of the sump. I am including images below that will help you with this. Always unplug or de-energize electrical equipment before removing covers or attempting service. Be careful and wear appropriate hand protection when working around sharp metal parts.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website; Sears Home Services .

Here is a link that you may use to view the parts list diagram or purchase any parts needed for your appliance; Sears Parts Direct .

I hope this is helpful. Check the things I have covered here and if I may be of further assistance please reply to this post.

I understand that your dishwasher is not wetting or cleaning your dishes. I attached the link below for you to view. I hope the link that I provided is helpful.

From the description you give I suspect something is wrong with the motor and/or impeller.

The dishwasher has the proper amount of water in the tub but it is not circulating the water.

The image below will show how to access the sump and impeller. Check for debris or obstructions.

The motor might be running but if the impeller is not then there will be no circulation. The motor and impeller is a one piece unit.

There is a ball in the sump that should block either the upper or lower spray arm. This dishwasher only runs one spray arm at a time. If the ball was missing or blocked then if both spray arm try to run there won't be enough water and the pressure would be extremely low.

Check the motor/impeller for obstructions in the sump and reply with any additional details or questions for further assistance.
