Thanks for replying. However, the issue is not that mine is blinking. It is continuously lit, and the reset sequence that is listed (like on hundreds of other posts here) doesnt work as my unit is not the same as theirs, nor does it have the buttons suggested to do the reset. I most definitely appreciate the help though. Thanks again.

Thank you for submitting your question. I understand your concern and I will be happy to assist you. The clean light will illuminate when the dishwasher successfully completes a wash cycle. It will stay illuminated until the door is open. This way you don't have to wonder if you ran the cycle. If the clean light does not go out when the door is open, that indicates a problem with the door switches for the dishwasher. You door switches are a part of the door latch assembly (A00099901). The images below will assist you with the replacement of this part. You can order parts from our Sears Parts Direct web site. I hope this helps. Please reply back to this thread if you require further assistance. Thank you for using Manage My Life.

Q:

I have a Sears Dishwasher that leaks because the heating coil lifts up from the tub bottom by itself and allows the water to pass through . Ideas anyone ?

A:

It can be very frustrating when a appliance has a leaking issue. I have came across a question that someone else has asked here on Manage My Life with a posted response from an expert. I have attached the link below so you can get an idea of what is going on with your dishwasher. Hope this helps!

The original heater nuts did have an issue with them cracking and splitting allowing the heater to come loose and water leak. Make sure it has good washers/grommets too. I recommend checking the new heater nuts to make sure they haven't split too. You may have received and installed another set of bad heater nuts. Also, do not over tighten the heater nuts are they may split again or it may cause the heater to lift up at the opposite side of the heater or cause it to leak. One more thing, make sure the heater is sitting in the two heater brackets (key#2) or the heater can lift up if any thing happens to be protruding past the bottom of the rack and it happens to grab the heating element when sliding the rack out. Also make sure the washer/grommets are not causing the leaks.
