Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

Installing the door springs is very easy. I added a YouTube video showing how to install the door springs. NOTE: Disconnect the dishwasher from the power supply before removing the front lower access panel. I also added a couple of images below to view.

I hope this is helpful. If I may be of further assistance as more details become available, please reply to this post.

Hi Susan,

Thank you for submitting a question to Manage My Life.

I know how frustrating it can be when you attempt self repair projects and you have to go into them blindly.

The best way for you to accomplish this is to uninstall the dishwasher and remove the pump from the bottom. Always unplug or de-energize electrical equipment before removing covers or attempting service. Be careful and wear appropriate hand protection when working around sharp metal parts. I have included an image below that describes the installation process. You just need to follow this in reverse. If you have small hands and arms it is possible to remove the drain pump by just removing the toe panel (see image) and reaching underneath. Most likely you will need to pull the dishwasher out of the cabinet and lay it on its side or back. The drain pump is attached with a couple of screws and hoses.

You may purchase this part at Sears Parts Direct, please click here Drain pump .

I hope this is helpful. If I may be of further assistance as more details become available, please reply to this post.

Thanks again for using Manage My Life.

Q:

what is the code to restart my kenmore dishwasher model #58715079200 after a power outage

A:

Whenever I need help with resetting an appliance I always refer back to my owners manual. If you do not have a owners manual then no problem you can go to the top of the page and click on the tab that says "MANUALS" a search box should pop up and you can go ahead and type in your model number. I have attached the link below if you are interested in viewing while waiting on your response from an expert. Hope this helps, good luck!

The HIGH TEMP SCRUB and AIR DRY LED's will normally blink after a power failure. Press the CANCEL/DRAIN to reset the control in this situation. The control should work normally.

If the control will not respond after you press the CANCEL/DRAIN button then you could have a problem with the keypad or the control board. A technician will normally need to diagnose and repair this type of failure. Here is a link for the Sears Service website in case you need it: Sears Home Services .
