I am running white vinegar through it now. When my husband was messing underneath it, he checked voltage. The motor was getting 120 but the line connecting to it was getting 50. And when he fiddled with it, it would shoot more water with more pressure into the dishwasher.

Based on the description of what you have done thus far I believe you washing problem is that the dishwasher is not getting enough water to wash. Water is the key to cleaning dishes and the water must be hot an plentiful. The component you need based on your description is an water inlet valve and I will add a link for this part here: Water inlet Valve
Always disconnect power supply before servicing the appliance and when testing live voltage be sure to wear proper safety equipment (gloves and eye protection) also be aware of sharp metals on product
