A:

Thanks for contacting ManageMyLife.com. I understand how frustrating it is having trouble with your dishwasher not draining. We are here to help. Based on the symptom, the drain hose and pump need to be taken apart and cleaned. To do that, the power to the dishwasher needs to be turned off and vacuum the standing water with a wet/dry shop vac. Next, remove the toe panel and disconnect the drain hose from the pump. The drain hose can be cleared by using a small plumbing snake. If the drain hose was clogged the problem may be solved. Otherwise, the pump needs to be taken apart and cleaned. The image below should help with taking apart the pump. However, do not remove the pump or the main seal. If you do, the seal would need to be replaced. The pump clog is usually at the filter and the impeller. If the impeller is worn or broken, replace it. I hope this helps.

A:

I can understand how important it is to have the right information for your dishwasher. I did some research and found that this model is 32 inches high. However, I was not able to find a dishwasher with this height that was ADA compliant or Bisque. I would suggest that you contact Sears.com to see if they can find one for you. If you need further assistance, please reply to this thread. Thank you for using Manage My Life.

Q:

Why is my dishwasher soap cup not opening? If the possible issues are a bad motor or low water charge, what is the suggested fix for these specific issues?

A:

With a low water charge you will need to replace the water valve & check the water supply line. If the motor is bad it will need to be replaced. For a starting point I recommend checking the bimetal with an amp probe meter first. This may be the only part needed.

A:

If the soap tray is not opening... might it not be the wax motor, or a hinge pin or spring?
