Q:

Model 580.767302 power sprayer 580767302 Craftsman Pressure washer

A:

Thank you for being Sears’ valued member and for contacting SearsPartsDirect.com with your question about your father’s Craftsman pressure washer model 580767302. I am so sorry there are issues with it that seem to persist from season to season. I will be happy to help you with this.

In this case I recommend you go back to the basic operations of the pump to help narrow down the issue. I have a couple of resources that will help you with that. First, I have included the link below for our Pressure Washer Repair Guide.

The guide will list several common problems to look for and the recommended solutions. If that doesn’t help fix this issue, I recommend investing in the manufacturer’s troubleshooting manual. It will show you each section of the pump, how it is assembled and will also give you troubleshooting tips for each part. I have included the link to order the manual.

I hope this answers your question. Thank you for choosing Sears, we appreciate your business.

I have a flat tire on this pressure washer. It has a air fill valve, but goes flat in about 15 minutes. How is the wheel removed from the axle for repair? I assume it has an inner tube. Also, it has 4 hex head bolts that appear to hold the wheel together, but the back huts are not accessible since they are so close to the base frame. I need to remove the wheel and presumably replace/repair the inner tube. Thanks.

Q:

Breather Tube 580767302 Craftsman Pressure washer

A:

Thanks for the inquiry and for being a valued member.

When you release the trigger on the gun with the engine running, the unloader valve inside the pump opens and lets the water circulate inside the pump until you pull the trigger again.

If the unloader valve is gummed up with hard water deposits or deposits from the detergent dispenser, it doesn't slide back and let the water recirculate. This causes the pressure inside the pump to rise until it stalls the engine.

You will need to clean or replace the unloader valve on your pressure washer. Some customers have had some luck taking the unloader out and cleaning it with WD-40 and a Scotch Brite pad. If a cleaning doesn’t work, a replacement will likely be needed.

The breather tube would be a separate issue, and should be replaced if cracked.

I hope this helps and thanks for using SearsPartsDirect.com. We appreciate your business.
