Q:

Pressure Nozzle 580-762200

A:

Thank you for contacting SearsPartsDirect.com with your question about the adjustable pressure nozzle for your Craftsman Pressure Washer model 580-762200. I am so sorry you are having a problem with the nozzle. I will be happy to help you with this. I have included the link below for you to view the owner’s manual online in case you don’t have a copy.

Owner’s Manual for Craftsman Pressure Washer 580-762200.

The adjustable nozzle should turn clockwise and counter clockwise to adjust the spray pattern. It should also slide forward and backward to adjust the pressure (forward for low, backward for high). Please review the diagrams on page 7 of the manual.  If the nozzle does not slide to adjust the pressure, then you may need to replace the nozzle. I have included the link to order the part in case you need to replace it.

Adjustable Nozzle for Craftsman Pressure washer 580-762200.

It is important to have a properly working adjustable nozzle because the cleaning solution should always be applied at low pressure.  I hope this answers your question. If you need further assistance, please resubmit your question with additional details. Thank you for choosing Sears, we appreciate your business.

I believe the ridge should face away from the spacer plate on this. I have contacted the manufacturer to see if they can lend any clarification on this matter though.

Outside of that, I don't see anything else that wouldn't be obvious that would cause a leak. Without directly seeing the unit though, it's awfully hard to say.

When I hear back from the manufacturer, I will post that information here.
