I am sorry to hear of the issue you’re having with starting the pressure washer. I know how frustrating issues like this are to have happen.

From your description of the problem, I would suspect the unloader valve is stuck between the full pressure mode and the unloaded mode.

Clean the nozzle with a small piece of wire and remove the unloader valve and clean the sliding plunger and the inside of the body of any debris or buildup of chemicals. If you still have a problem, replace the unloader valve.

Please see the image below on how to troubleshoot your pressure washer. The hose should not have more than one extension and should not exceed a total length of about 50 feet.
