Thank you for the inquiry and for using ManageMyLife.com. This pump replacement kit will have everything you need to make a successful replacement. I have included links below for the Pump and for Pump Saver, which will prolong the life of the pump if used regularly, a good product to have around.

Installing a replacement pump on a pressure washer will be a much easier task than a rebuild, but it will still require some know-how. I would say it's difficulty would be a 5 on a scale of 10.

I wasn't able to find model specific instructions for the pump install, but I was able to locate a general installation you may follow for guidance if by chance the replacement pump does not include instructions, typically they do though.

Items you need to complete the repair: The replacement pump, 100% silicone rubber, and a wrench.

  1. Remove the damaged pump from the pressure washer engine. Remove the four bolts holding the pump on, then unscrew the set screw.
  2. Turn the shaft until the key way is facing up. The key way is a small hole about 2 to 3 inches down the shaft. To do this, pull on the recoil rope until the shaft rotates and the key way is on top. Make sure the set screw from the replacement pump fits into the key way on the shaft.
  3. Apply a ring of the silicone rubber around the shaft about a 1/2 inch from the open end.
  4. Rotate the key way on the pump to line it up the key on shaft. Put the handle of a wrench in the hollow shaft and turn the rim on the pump until the key way notch is in the right position. The easiest way to line the key way up is to look at the engine and use the holes for the bolts as reference points. Then use the holes for the bolts on the pump to line the key way up.
  5. Pick up the pump and line up the bolt holes from the engine and shaft. Stand at the end of the shaft to get the best view. Slide the pump onto the shaft and push it flush with the engine.
  6. Place the set screw through the key way for the pump into the shaft and use an Allen wrench to tighten it in place. Place the four bolts with lock washers into the bolt holes and tighten. These bolts need to be tightened evenly.

Hopefully this helps, as mentioned, we do include installation instructions with kits and assemblies, which this pump fall within. I wouldn't see any issue with the installation, and it would be a cheaper route than a replacement pressure washer.

If you haven't purchased the pump yet, for convenience, I have included a blue links below that you may click on to be directed to the PartsDirect page to view and purchase the parts.
