Q:

Won't start 580752131 Craftsman Pressure washer

A:

Thanks for the inquiry and for being a valued member.

I am sorry to hear of the issue starting the pressure washer. I know how frustrating that is.

Based upon the pressure washer model, I show the unit has a Briggs & Stratton engine with a model of 126L02-0111-F1. I do see this model has a choke on the carburetor. To help out, I have linked the model specific engine manual below.

Q:

Very little pressure 580752131 Craftsman Pressure washer

A:

Thanks for the inquiry and for using SearsPartsDirect.com.

I am sorry to hear of the lack of pressure coming from the pressure washer, I know how frustrating that is, especially if you were in the middle of a job or starting one.

The pump on this model isn't broken down for parts besides the basics like the inlet or outlet tube. Typically, if a pressure washer doesn't have pressure coming out, the unloader valve from the pump is stuck and not allowing the pressure to come out of the gun. Other possibilities could be kinks in the hose or water supply or a clogged nozzle with dirt that's not allowing pressure to release.

Since the pump is not broken down for parts, and presuming you've checked all other possibilities, the only thing I could recommend would be a replacement pump. I would recommend using Pump Saver in between uses which will remove any mineral deposits that can cause items like the unloader to seize or stick between uses. It would also lubricate the internal seals and orings to prolong their lifespan.

I have included two blue links below that you may click on to be directed to the PartsDirect page to view and purchase either the pump or Pump Saver if needed.
