• Check each piston chamber and the cavity for
the inlet o-ring for any water contaminants
such as scale residue or lime deposits.
• Press the new high pressure seals into their
seats with the flat side of the seal being visible.
Repeat this for the remaining pistons.
Remove the following components from
the piston housing;
• A. - O-ring
• B. - Piston guide.
Work the o-ring free of the piston.
• Using your o-ring pick, remove the high
pressure seal from the piston.

Install the new o-ring on top of the high pressure seal.
• Make sure that the new high pressure seal is
completely seated in its cavity.
• Repeat this process for the remaining pistons.

No pressure 580752040 Craftsman Pressure washer

Thanks for the inquiry and for being a valued member.

I am sorry to hear that there is no pressure coming from the pressure washer. I know how frustrating that is to have happen.

Check to make sure the inlet screen is not plugged up. Also, remove the screen and look down in the inlet tube and make sure there isn't a lot of calcium deposit buildup in there. If those things look good then there may be a problem with the unloader. You can remove the unloader and make sure it's clean. Once you have the unloader out, use WD-40 and a Scotch Brite pad to clean the parts. If it looks clean, the the unloader itself may be bad. Before you condemn the unloader and get a new one, make sure to take the check valves out and make sure they're clean and not damaged.

If you would feel more confident have a Sears Home Service technician help assist with the diagnosis/repair, you can call 1-800-469-4663, or click here to be directed to the page to set up service.

I hope this helps and thanks for using We appreciate your business.
