Thank you for your question. I'm sorry you are having this problem with the dehumidifier. First, it needs to be determined if the humidity level is high enough, to keep the unit running. If the bucket full light is on but there is very little water in it, I would suggest working the bucket switch manually by hand. Press the switch in and turn the unit on. If it continues to run, the bucket might be slipping out of position. If it still quits, the problem will be with either the control or the sensor. I would recommend having a technician make this type of check. I'm listing a site you can access, to locate the nearest repair center. Here is a link that will provide the nearest drop-off locations:  Sears Home Services. I hope this will help you.

Thank you for your question. I can understand your concern about the fan not running. You have received some good general information from Aashe. This will be a problem with either the motor or the board. To determine, which part has failed, will require gaining access to the control board and a voltage check will need to be made. Only make this check if you feel confident, that you can make it safely. First disconnect power to the unit and when you have access to the board, place your meter lead on the black wire and the orange wire (see picture). Now reconnect the power and set the control on high speed. If the meter reads 120 volts but the motor does not run, the motor # 4681A20034C will need to be replaced. If there is no voltage there, the board # 6871A20074A will need to be replaced. These parts are available at SearsPartsDirect . I hope this will help you. If you would like more assistance, reply to this thread and I will be glad to assist you further.

If you do not feel confident repairing this problem yourself, then you can have it repaired at your home by a Sears technician. Here is a link for the website: Sears Home Services .
