Q:

I have a Kenmore dehumidifier and the power comes on and it won't run, the water bucket is in. What can I do?

A:

Two things can cause your dehumidifier to not come on. The control board or the switch for the water bucket. If the control board is the problem it will need to be replaced.

I am sending you an image showing the switch the water bucket activates. be sure the water bucket is sitting in the grooves. You can test this by holding the switch down with your finger and turning the dehumidifier on.
