Question and Answers

Q:

what is the bucket capacity of kenmore dehumidifier model # 580.51450?

A:

Thank you for choosing ManageMyLife.com. I understand how important it is to know the capacity of your dehumidifier. Based on the model number you've provided, I was unable to find the product specifications. I have included an image below showing dimensions of another Kenmore dehumidifier. If these dimensions match yours, I would assume that the pint capacity is the same.
I apologize for not being able to be model specific with this answer. I hope we can help you with any other questions and repairs in the future. Thanks for using ManageMyLife.com.

Thanks for your question about your dehumidifier model 580.51450. I will be glad to assist you.The dehumidifier not operating could have been due to the fact that the humidity level was not high enough to activate the unit based on its settings.  There may have been a problem with the bucket placement as well, but if you did not move the unit that would be unlikely. It is very difficult to diagnose a problem that is intermittent. I suggest you continue using the dehumidifier and if there is any issue contact me or schedule service through Sears Services. Ron H.

Thank you for your question. I understand your concern about the sensor. The source has been notified of this situation and we are now waiting to hear from them. Unless you're sure the sensor has failed, I would recommend taking the dehumidifier to a repair center to have a tech check it. I'm listing a site you can access, for the nearest repair center. Here is a link that will provide the nearest drop-off locations: Sears Home Services . It will also help to have the complete model and serial number of the dehumidifier, to verify the correct part. You can reply to this thread with the full model and serial number and I will forward the information to the source, for further assistance. Im very sorry for the delay in this matter.
