Thank you for your question.

I am sorry you are having a problem with the generator. I have searched for a copy of the wiring diagram for your generator but did not have any luck. I was able to find the Generac model number and it is 8893.0. I did find a diagram for this model. Click here to go to the website that I found the diagram.

I hope this is helpful. Please let me know if you need further assistance.

Thank you for using Manage my life.

Shannon, According to our cross reference book, Generac model 8893.0 is the same as the Craftsman generator. If the generator has been sitting for a long time you may only need to flash the fields. The link below will show how to flash the fields. Please let me know if you need further assistance.

Thanks again Mark!!! I got the generator working, by flashing the field last week, now it self excites about 60% of the time. Which leads me to believe, some electro mechanical deterioration of the rotating element (exciter) has occured over time. I am currently designing a flash circuit, to be institued with a N/O momentary push button. With your help in attaining the wiring diagram. I sincerely appreciate all your due dilligence in doing research for this unit.
