I can understand wanting to have the generator producing electricity.

Have you checked or reset the circuit breakers on the outlets?

If the unit has lost residual starting currant you can use an electric hand drill and have the engine on the generator running.

Plug the hand drill into the outlet and by hand, pull the trigger on the switch and rotate the drill chuck by hand.

This should give the generators FTE winding some starting voltage and then the drill should start running. (Flashing the windings)

Sometimes if the generator has not been used for a long time it may loose its residual currant to start the generating process.

If this does not solve the problem you may have to take the unit in for service.
