Thank you for your question on the Sears Ted Williams 7.5 horse power outboard motor.

I will need the model number off the outboard transom model and serial plate to find the information you are looking for.

The model number should look like following example: 217.5xxxx.

Thank you for the update of the outboard motor. I looked at ever 7.5 outboard we had in the part system and I think this one is not listed and that is why it does not come up when it is searched. I think this was one of those outboards that were made by Elgin-Sears-McCulloch. It showed up under a number of labels. I think your serial number may be a 636007. I have found a site that may have some information on this old outboard. Some of these were promotional models and there was little documentation saved on these models. I have found a web-site that may be of some help to you. I will list it below. Sam A.

my motor appears to be one of the '60-'68 low profile McCullochs it refered to the multiple impellers below the water line as mine are. That picture looks exactly like my motor. That artcle however, does'nt include any info on manuals or parts at all.And I'm still needing help on lower end assembly to get the shifter all the way down

Thank you for the update. At least now I know that I am in the ball park for finding the manual and information on the outboard motor. I have found an outboard motor dealer that knows about this model and does have a manual and other information for you. The company is Discount Marine Parts in Bark River WI. Phone number is 906-466-2180. I hope this will help. Sam A.
