Q:

Need Switch equivalent for Craftsman Rotary Tool 572.610530 572.610530

A:

Thanks for the inquiry and for being a valued member.

Unfortunately, the manufacturer hasn't recommended a replacement switch for part number 2615294890. You could contact Dremel to see if they can recommend a replacement, but we are dependent upon them for authorized substitutions.

We apologize for the inconvenience and thanks for using SearsPartsDirect.com. We appreciate your business.

Thank you for the question.

I am sorry you are having a problem with the dremel tool. I have looked up the model number you have submitted. We do not repair these tools because the labor cost exceeds the vale of the tool. I will do my best to assist you. It looks like you have to remove the four screws that hold the two sides together. Once the screws are removed pay close attention to how the parts fit together when you separate the two halves. Then remove the switch and reassemble in the reverse order. I hope this is helpful.

Thank you for using Manage my life.

Q:

What grease or oil do I use to lube my Craftsman Rotary Tool 572.610530? It is 10 years old.

A:

Use white lithium grease on the bearings. Use it sparingly. You don't want the grease to get onto the rotor or it will ruin the brushes. Most all greases are non-conductive.
