Q:

Kenmore Beer Dispenser Model 564.91509990 56491509990 Kenmore Beer dispenser

A:

Thanks for the inquiry and for being a valued member.

Sears does not recommend making alterations or modifications to this beer dispenser outside of how it originally came from the manufacturer. We cannot guarantee the usability or safety of such modifications.

As you mentioned, you could possibly hit coolant lines in the cabinet and damage the unit during the relocation of the tank. For that reason, we cannot give you advise on how to perform the modification.

We apologize for the inconvenience and thanks for using SearsPartsDirect.com. We appreciate your business.

Q:

Beer Dispenser not cooling 56491509990 Kenmore Beer dispenser

A:

Thank you for choosing SearsPartsDirect.com. I will be more then happy to assist you. When was the last time you cleaned the coils? Dose the compressor even turn on? Dose it make any noises? There is a relay that's on the right side of the compressor that could be bad too. Or the coils on the back could be dirty and blocking air flow in, witch wont let it run properly. Could also be a thermostat that went bad, That is located on the top right inside the unit. Last thing is it could be a door seal . Not sealing the door properly not cooling properly. Hope this information has help you. If you are not comfortable doing this repair you can Click Here to schedule a technician or call toll free 1-800-469-4663. Any further questions or concerns. You will have to post a new question because at this time I can not reply to any comments. Again, Thank you for choosing SearsPartsDirect.com.

Thank you for submitting your question and I will be happy to assist you. The part number and model number you've provided does not come up in our data base. To recharge a seal system, it will require a certified technician with the proper equipment and experience. A technician should be able to give you an estimate, on recharging the system. In order to replace the evaporators system will require to sever the freon line for removal and reinstalltion. I recommend taking the unit in or scheduling for service for a certified technician to repair this for you. You can schedule for service online with out Sears Home Services team. Thank you for choosing Manage My Life.
