Question and Answers

Q:

I replaced the line fuse in my microwave but it fails to heat up? What else can I do?

A:

Microwaves should only be serviced by technicians who have proper training and knowledge of microwaves. Microwave ovens have the potential to store 15,000 volts even when unplugged from the power source. This high voltage charge can be fatal or cause serious bodily harm. It is for this reason that we do to not assist in working on microwaves.

I recommend calling a service technician to diagnose and repair your microwave.

A:

The microwave does not have to be removed in order to replace the line fuse; however we do not assist with any microwave repairs when it involves removing the control panel or wrapper due to the possibility of getting electrocuted. The microwave can store 15,000 volts of electricity even if it has been unplugged which can be fatal or cause serious bodily harm.

I recommend calling a service technician to diagnose and repair your microwave.
