What is the problem? What part of the service manual are you looking for? I can see what parts I can get a hold of if you let me know the part of the schematics you are looking for.

I need to see a diagram of how to put the lower back (made of particle board) back on my Hitachi 53FDX20B. I removed the back and don't know where the 2 gold screws go. I also need to see If I am missing any screws. I have 15 black screws that go around the board and 2 short gold screws. Where do the gold screws go? I need to see a diagram of the inner back and the view of how to replace the back.

I will try and find a picture, but while look; the gold screws typically go on the plastic part were all the inputs are. I think the back cover should have 16 screws in it.

There is not a diagram the shows where each screw goes. The screws go around the parameter of the back cover to secure it to the TV cabinet.

With the red lights on indicates that the TV is not completely dead. I seams that the power supply is cycling and a verity of things could be causing this issue. This is an uncommon problem and nothing is sticking out hat would be the problem.

The problem you are describing can be very difficult to diagnose. I recommend having a technician come out and to be able to make some internal check to properly diagnose your TV.

Note: Working on a TV can be difficult due to the high voltage circuits inside. Always remember to unplug any TV before trying to work on it.

Most common would be either the power supply or the convergence circuit causing this issue. How did the picture look before it would not turn on anymore? When you do try and turn it on does it make any noises?

The pic was great I was just sitting there watching TV last week and all I heard was a pop and then it went out now when I turn it on it comes on but the red light flashes and you can smell it getting hot from the back of the TV so I took the back off and the middle board has a green light on it and it is flashing and clicking over and over again as is the red light on front and the fed light on the back on the same board goes from being bright. To dim as the green light flashes
