Q:

snow thrower model 536887251 runs about 10 minutes then stalls. About 2 days later could use again but will stop

A:

I understand that your snow thrower will stall out after 10 minutes of use. I have taken some time to research your question here on the Manage My Life website and I noticed that someone else had asked a similar question with a posted response from an expert. I attached the link below if you are interested in viewing. I hope the link that I provided is helpful.

Thank you for your question.

I can understand your frustration when the snow thrower stops running after ten minutes.

I think it is one of two things.

  • It is either spark from a bad plug or some gas that has moisture in it.

  • I would suggest that you change the spark plug and also drain the gas tank and put in fresh just purchased fuel from a clean container.

There are other possibilities but they are very remote. It could be an ignition coil breaking down when it gets warm.

But I would suggest the top two first and then go from there.

Thank you for using Manage My Life.

Q:

question about replacing lever assemble snowblower 536.887251

A:

Thanks for the inquiry and for being a valued member.

I am sorry to hear of the issue you're having with the cable and the bent lever. I know how frustrating that is to have happen.

Outside of a replacement lever, the only hardware I show as being applicable would be the push nut. The part number if needed is 761105MA. The levers are side specific. The left side (from operators position) is part number 1740699AYP, and the right side is 1740700AYP.

I hope this helps and thanks for using SearsPartsDirect.com. We appreciate your business.
