I am sorry to hear that the drain is leaking on the carburetor. I know how frustrating that is.

I would recommend replacing the bowl drain assembly, part number 525-220. This will include the plunger gasket, that is more than likely the culprit. You can replace just the gasket, but it's the same price, so you might as well replace the entire assembly.
