You will need to access the ignition module on the engine. To access the module you will need to remove the engine shroud. There will be a small black wire connected to a spade terminal on the module. Take that black wire off the module then check for spark. If you then have spark, the coil is good and there is a short in the kill wire or a bad kill switch. If you still do not have spark, the module is bad and you will need to replace it.
