Q:

Governor spring on craftsman 32.8cc 10 in mini tiller .

A:

I have attached a photo below to help you with this situation. I'm not completely sure the engine in the photo is set up like yours though. If you look at the photo and it looks nothing like yours, let me know and I'll see if I can come up with another photo or drawing that will be closer to what you have.

Thank you for using Manage My Life!

Good afternoon. I have this same mini tiller and the plug won't spark. The plug tests good and the coil has a resistance of 5.15 K ohms. Is the coil bad or do I have another problem? Thanks for your help, Jim

Q:

Snow Thrower Lubrication 536.886122

A:

Thanks for the inquiry and for using SearsPartsDirect.com.
You can use lubriplate or white lithium grease for the snow thrower gear case. The grease inside the gear case is typically white lithium grease, but some models will also use lubriplate. Put a generous amount of grease on the gears inside the gear case after replacing the gears or completing the service. You don't need to fill the gear case with the grease, just coat the gears liberally.
For convenience, I have included blue links below for either option. Just click on the link to be directed to Sears.com to view and purchase either option. Just make sure that you select a grease that can withstand high temperatures, and make sure to stay away from the low temp greases.

White Lithium Grease

Lubriplate

Hope this helps and thanks for using SearsPartsDirect.com.

Josh: Thanks for the quick reply. I removed the shear bolts and lug/screw #306. Then several pumps of a small grease gun filled with Lubriplate GR-132. Figured after 18 years, it was due for lubrication. Tecumsah engine still runs ike a champ. Starts on 1 or 2 pulls, even after 8 months of storage. Carl Billhardt
