I found a video on YouTube that demonstrates how to wind the spring back up. You can view the video HERE and this should give you a pretty good idea of how to wind the spring back up to where it will do what it should.

I own a 2HP Craftsman Tiller. I can't remove the clevis pin on the inside of the tine. The tine is not rotating. Is this the cause?

A:

Can you rotate the tines on the axle with your hands? Are the clips that hold the clevis pins in still in place?

Start the tiller engine and raise the tines off the ground. Engage the tines and be sure the axles the tines mount to are turning.

Sometimes the pins break and lodge inside the axle. If this has happened, you need to drive the broken pins out of the axle with a hammer and a drift punch the same size as the pins.
