Thanks for contacting ManageMyLife.com. I understand your concern wanting to know if that snowblower attachment will fit your tractor. We are here to help. Based on the information you provided, the Craftsman tractor model number 536.255870 is a 1993 tractor. It was manufactured by Murray. The attachment you are considering purchasing will not fit the tractor. After doing some research, the snowblower attachment that may fit your tractor is 24577. That model fits, Murray tractor made between 1989-1994. I hope this helps.

Q:

Where can I find high lift blades for my tractor?

A:

If I'm not mistaken only mulch blades were ever offered for that model. I know the mulchers are all Sears ever carried for that tractor. You may be able to look around at a local shop and find an "aftermarket" brand blade that's high lift. It would be worth looking into.

Q:

Why does my replacement solenoid have an extra terminal?

A:

The new solenoid should have come with a little pig-tail black wire. That wire will plug into the extra terminal on the side of the solenoid and the connect it to ground. That usually is just right there on the mounting bolt. If the solenoid didn't come with that little pig-tail, you can just make one up and connect it from that extra terminal to the mounting screw.
