Q:

Why is the disance the snow being thrown is minimal? 536146 Western Tool Western 26 inch snow thrower

A:

Thank you for choosing sears I would be happy to help you with your laundry center. Upon researching model 41798702891; Make sure the impeller does not have any odd slack to it as this could signal a problem with the input shaft. Have a look at the impeller directly to make sure it's not worn down and that no foreign objects are jammed up into the discharge area. Using a nonstick spray to coat the chute such as pam or silicone spray and also car wax works well. You can also use mo-deck spray lubricant. I have posted a link below of the mo-deck spray.

I trust that this information will help you, thank you have a great day

David90, are you talking about the laundry center or snow thrower, as this is the same reply to both problems? I'm thinking this is a good answer if i had a snow thrower. thank you, Gary

I am referring to the Dynamark snow blower . There is a gap of approx. 1 '' between the impeller blades and the tunnel. I wasn't certain if it came from the manufacturer this way years ago or not. I installed extensions I invented to the impeller blades. Snow now blown by the machine went from approx. 6 feet to an impressive 16 feet . Parts for this old timer are hard to come by so it pays for one to be field expedient.
