Thank you for your question.

I am sorry you are having a problem with the snow blower. I will be happy to assist you. I looked up the model number you submitted. This engine has points and condenser. If the engine is not producing any spark I recommend replacing these first. These parts are what cause the coil to send the spark to the plug. The part numbers for the points and condenser is 30547A and 30548B. The parts can be ordered from the following link. Replacement parts for a Craftsman engine model 143610982.

I found a video that shows how to replace the points. Click here to watch the video.

I hope this is helpful. Please let me know if you need further assistance.

Hello Dianna,

I would like to assist you with your carburetor rebuild kit question. The engine that documentation lists for your snow thrower is a 143686092 and is not a Briggs and Stratton. If the engine on your snow thrower is labeled as a Briggs and Stratton, I would like the model number that is found on the plate near the cylinder head. The carburetor kit for the original listed engine is at this link.

Look your engine over carefully and let me know if it is not the original one and I'll be happy to assist you further.
