Q:

Washer will not spin WBVH5200J1WW Ge Washer

A:

Thank you for choosing SearsPartsDirect. I will be more than happy to assist you with your GE washer.

From the information you have provided above, I can see how frustrating it can be to have your washer give you some issues, but after researching model number WBVH5200J1WW. I would suggest first checking your belt. make sure the belt is properly installed and not broken. Then once that is checked I would suggest clearing out the pump and drain hose from any clogs or debris. Your pump may need to be replaced. If you would feel more comfortable having a technician out you can set up service at 1-800-4MY-HOME.

I hope you found this information useful. Again thank you for choosing Sears, we appreciate your business, have a great day.

Q:

smoke WBVH5200J3WW

A:

Thank you for choosing SearsPartsDirect.com and being a valued member.  I can certainly understand how frustrating it can be when your washer is smoking during the drain and spin cycle.

I recommend taking your unit apart to inspect the belt. If the belt is worn it will start making a burning smell.
