A:

Thanks for the inquiry and for using SearsPartsDirect.com.
I have attached a few diagrams below for the belt routings. One if for the mower deck, and the other is for the ground drive.

Also, the owner's manual for this tractor has some pretty good step-by-step instructions and visual diagrams on page 23. If you don't have a copy of the owner's manual, I have provided a blue link below that you may click on to be directed to SearsPartsDirect.com to view and download the manual if needed. Hope these visuals help.

Thank you for your question. At this stage unless the water has an odor, I would not recommend replacing the anode rod. Now, unless this is a glass lined tank it, it won't have an anode rod. To determine if the anode rod needed to be replaced, it would need to be pulled to check the state of the existing rod. If more then 6 inches of exposed core wire is present on either end, it would need to be replaced. I hope this will help you. If you would like more assistance, reply to this thread and please include the complete model and serial number and I will be glad to assist you further.

Thanks Scott, for your expert advice. FYI....there's no odor present in the water in my heater. At this point, I need to determine whether my water heater is glass lined or not. BTW... you stated that if the tank is glass lined, it won't have an anode rod. My heater has a 1 1/16" hex socket on top and the parts list for this model shows an aluminum anode installed. Please let me know what's going on here. The model and serial number for my unit are: A.O. Smith Energy Saver Model #: FSG-50 J 00N010000 Ser.#: MG 00-0081946-242 Many thanks in advice.

I'm sorry for the confusion in my statement about the glass lining and the anode. An anode rod will be in all glass lined tanks. Actually an anode rod will be in most all water heaters unless it has a plastic tank. If there is no odor in the water, the anode rod should be ok. However, the only way to check the anode rod is, to actually pull it out and look at it. This can be difficult unless, there is enough room above the tank, to pull the anode rod out. This is a glass lined tank. I hope this will help you.

Thank you for your question. I can understand your concern if there is an odor in the water. The part number you received is a good number for the aluminum anode rod and is available at SearsPartsDirect . There is another anode rod # 9001453 and it's also aluminum. I hope this will help you.
