That Limit Switch Kit WB24K5038 does not appear to be compatible with the Surface Thermostat 3192219. I don't recommend that you replace the part original part with that limit switch kit. You indicated that the surface thermostat has already tripped twice. I recommend that you determine the cause of that failure instead of trying to install a different component. If an element is overheating or drawing too much current, then I recommend that you replace the defective component. That should prevent the surface thermostat from tripping. If you need help diagnosing and repairing a failure, reply with additional details and the full model number of your cooktop or range. We will assist you further once we receive more information.

If you get to the point where you need to have a service technician diagnose and repair this failure, you can schedule service through this link: Sears Home Services .

Q:

My front right burner on my glass top stove won't work fully. The inner portion won't turn on. How can I repair it?

A:

The inner and outer portions of the element are controlled by the control and a relay board in the range. Someone will need to check these components to determine where the problem is.

I recommend you schedule service and get a technician to diagnose and repair the range.

Thanks Jimmy, do you work for Sears, I am trying to avoid calling them for anything, there costs are off the charts and I am actually pretty good at home repair, so I'll give it a go on my own. I believe it's the burner, but will check the rest, I have the schematics.
