Q:

Deck vibrates. 502255050 Craftsman Tractor

A:

Thank you for choosing SearsPartsDirect.com. I will be more than happy to assist you. I can understand any frustration you may have experienced with regards to your unit. Let’s see what we can do for you.

There could be a couple different issues here. The major one would be if you hit anything last time using the mower? The Mandrel and spinal are a major part and if there bent or broken in any way this would cause a major vibration. Also all the connection for the deck to the suspension arms would be then other thing to check and make sure nothing is bent or broken.

Hope this information has helped you. If you are not comfortable doing this repair you can click here to schedule a technician or call toll free 1-800-469-4663. Again, thank you for choosing SearsPartsDirect.com.

SAFETY NOTICE: Before checking anything on this mower please make sure you unplug the spark plug for safety reasons. This will ensure there would be no way the mower could accidently turn on. Be aware that there could be sharp edges on the mower that could cause cuts or other injuries to yourself or others.

I was able to get information on the previous instructions. But, it didn't tell how to replace the drive (clutch) belt. It also mention adjusting the clutch, does any one have that information. Also, is there any chance of getting a copy of the complete owners manual? Thank you for any help you can give me. Rick

Thank you for your question.

I will be happy to assist you. I have looked up the model number you have submitted. I am sorry we do not have a bagger for this model mower. The original manufacturer of the mower went out of business some time ago. The only way to find a bagger for this mower is going to be used. You can try E bay and any garage sales in your area but it will be tough finding one in good condition because of the age.

I am sorry I did not have better new for you.

Thank you for using Manage my life.

Mark.
