What is meaning of failure code "F 2" on Lenmore oven-range?

Error displays can leave us feeling helpless. I did some checking and located a quick explanation of what this may be. I attached below if you want to check while waiting for the expert. If you decide to schedule a technician to help diagnose and make repairs, the Sears Home Services scheduler below can help.

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern.

The model number you provided is not a valid or complete model number.

The "F2" fault can indicate the oven control senses an oven temp above 590 degrees F. This could be cause by a high resistance connection in the oven temperature sensor circuit. The oven temperature sensor should be disconnected and measured for proper resistance. The oven temperature sensor probe is located inside the oven cavity in the upper left or upper rear corner.

If the sensor measures approximately 1100 Ohms; then it likely has a faulty Electronic Range Control (ERC).

I added a link below that will also provide additional information.

How do I check and replace the sensor on my Kenmore range model 9114552191 that displays the F2 and F3 codes?

I hope this is helpful. If I may be of further assistance as more details become available, please reply to this post along with a valid model number.
