Thank you for your question.

I am sorry you are having a problem with the sweeper. If the shaft is broken, you have to replace the whole shaft. If you need to order the shaft, you can order it from the following link. To replace the shaft you have to remove the brushes from the shaft first. I recommend having a camera handy so that you can take pictures as you go. They might be useful later. Then prop the sweeper up so the wheels are off the ground. Once the sweeper is supported, the wheels have to come off both sides. Then remove the chain and gears from both sides. Now remove the wheel drive housings from both sides. The last step is to remove the bolts that secure the bearings on both sides. Once they are removed, the shaft should come out of the frame. Transfer the bearings and the holders to the new shaft. Then reassemble in the reverse order. I posted an image below that shows the break down of the sweeper. Click on the image to enlarge it.
